"Leaked Info Reveals Realme's New 300W Charging Tech Demo"
Realme is gearing up to unveil its 300W wired charging solution on August 14 at a special event in China. This was previously rumored, but the company has now confirmed it.
Today, a leaked video surfaced, showing the new technology in action even before its official announcement. In the video, the phone reaches 15% battery in just 32 seconds, and by 35 seconds, it's already at 17%. That's impressive, but it's worth noting that Redmi introduced its 300W charging system last year, and we have yet to see it in any consumer devices. Hopefully, Realme won't take as long to bring this technology to market.
Realme might have a better chance of doing so, given that it has already released phones with 240W charging capabilities, making the jump to 300W more achievable. In contrast, Redmi's current devices max out at 120W. Interestingly, there are whispers that Realme might push beyond 300W to outdo Redmi.
That said, the August 14 event will focus solely on showcasing the charging technology, with no new phone launch expected.
